006 was born from a desire to create a place in our neighborhood where we can go with friends and have great cocktails in a small, intimate environment that’s a step or two up from our favorite dive bars. We grew up in Montrose in the 70’s and 80’s and the name comes from our zip code 77006. The walls are covered with a montage of pictures of the neighborhood from the 70’s and 80’s and you’ll hear music from then as well as a lot of Tribe, De La Soul, etc. later at night. We have inside seating for about 15 with 8 barstools and a few small couches as well as patio seating for another 15. We offer a small menu of bar bites that are a lot better than they need to be and some great bartenders that are ready to make you an amazing drink and hear about your day. We’re below Rosemont and next to Uchi, open Monday through Saturday, soon to be Sundays as well. We look forward to seeing you.
